Directions
Coming from the south on Highway 101, take Exit 713 and proceed along Samoa Blvd. toward Arcata. Turn left onto either G Street (Interpretive Center parking lot on the right) or I Street (Klopp Lake parking at end of road, smaller parking lots along South I Street).
Coming from the north on Highway 101, take Exit 713 and proceed toward Arcata, turning left on either G Street or I Street, as above. OR, take Exit 712 and follow South G Street to the Interpretive Center parking lot on the left.
Marsh Trail Hours
The Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary is open to the public every day from 4 a.m. until one hour after sunset. It is located in the city of Arcata, Calif., west of Highway 101 and south of Samoa Blvd.
Arcata March Interpretive Center (AMIC) Hours
The Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center is located at 569 South G Street in Arcata. They are open Tuesday through Sunday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The phone number is 707-826-2359.
