Do you love nature? Want a good excuse to get outside? Join this year’s #CityNatureChallenge, April 24–27, and help us observe plants, animals, and other species from around the globe.
All you need is a smartphone & the free @inaturalist app. You can join the Humboldt County project on iNaturalist at City Nature Challenge 2026: Humboldt County
If you’d like an introduction or help getting started join us at 10 am on Saturday, April 25 at the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary Interpretive Center to get started on the project, pick up a scavenger hunt, then start your bioblitz!
