First Saturday Tour!

May 15 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

FOAM president Elliott Dabill will lead the first 2 pm tour in over a year! Bring a mask and meet in front of the Interpretive Center (closed) for a 90-minute walk around the Arcata Marsh. Other leaders this month are Ken Burton (May 22) and Jenny Hanson (May 29).

Volunteer Trail Stewards Marsh Work Day

Dear Wonderful Volunteers, Summer is definitely here . . . sunshine, wind, and warmer temperatures . . . with the unexpected bonus last weekend of a good rainstorm. Everything is growing. We are going to work on the Bay Trail for our Saturday, June 26, work day.  We’ll start at 9 am.  I am hoping that we can run a couple of mowers along the 3-4 feet along the trail going south, make a concerted effort to get rid of the Scotch Broom especially that…
